TESTIMONIALS:

“Thank you for arranging Tara. She is wonderful. So full of life and energy. She is a passionate and exciting speaker. Tara is a credit to our community and society. I strongly recommend her.”
Oak  Dowling, Program Chair, Rotary Club of San Rafael

“The Women In Business Committee of the Novato Chamber was very excited to have Tara speak at fourth in our series of Pioneering Women luncheons, and she entertained, inspired and educated us with a flair that we found funny, warm and welcoming. Please pass along our sincere Thanks, and appreciation for her support of our luncheon.”
– Lauri Hammer, Co-Chair Novato Chamber of Commerce / Women in Business

“I have a perfect attendance record of more than 35 years in Rotary so I have heard more than 1,800 speakers before Clubs. Tara Smith’s talk held the Rotary Club of Ignacio’s attention and interest totally. Her humor and jovial way of offering a number of important facts about her dedication to organic farming was in itself, interesting but her delivery made it an outstanding half hour of learning. My Club president said that it was “the highlight” of his term of office.  She is a true professional. Those privileged to hear her will find it a memorable experience.”
David Kurland, Rotary Club of Ignacio

“We so thoroughly enjoyed Tara’s visit to our Rotary Club. Not only did we learn a great deal, but we appreciated how passionate Tara is about something vital to all of us in West Marin. Common sense is in short supply these days; we found Tara’s grasp of food production and wisdom in caring for the land to be spot on. I know that Tara has sparked an interest in members wanting to visit Tara Firma Farms. May her business grow (comfortably) in leaps and bounds. We really appreciated that Tara took time out of her busy day to meet with us! “
Michelle Clein, Rotary Club of West Marin, Charter President (2002-2007)

“I thought Tara was one of the best speakers we have had. What she has done is incredible — going from selling long term care to running an organic, sustainable farm of 300 acres is quite an accomplishment. Also, I’m impressed how she has involved the local community. I spoke with my daughter in law. She says that students at her school have taken field trips to the farm. On a personal level she is a very engaging person.”
Bill Wigert, Rotary Club of West Marin

“I had heard from some other local Rotary Presidents about her and that she was very good. I enjoyed her talk. She’s well organized and persuasive.”
Paul Elmore, Rotary Club of West Marin, President (2009-2011)

I cannot say enough to tell you what a wonderful presentation Tara made this morning. Her material was not only unusual, but it was most interesting and her presentation was superb. Do not hesitate to refer her to any audience. Thank you so very much.”
Glenn Molyneaux, Rotary Club of San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf

“Our club truly enjoyed Tara’s take on “real food”. This self-described city girl is as authentic as she is savvy. She is one of the most engaging speakers we’ve seen in a long time. We only wish we’d allocated more time for her presentation!”
Paul Wichman, Rotary Club of Tiburon-Belvedere, Program Co-Chair
