Rave Book Reviews:
“As a board-certified physician, I recommend this book as a “must-read” to all of my colleagues, as well as to anyone who wants to stay healthy and enjoy an active lifestyle. Very thoroughly researched and supported by scientific facts, yet written in plain English in an enjoyable and conversational tone. Rich Holman, shares his own personal experience as well as his multi-decade observations of our society and its cultural trends as our entire food industry has been hijacked by the sugar industry.”

“I just finished your book. I couldn’t put it down and I know the evils of Big everything! Covid lockdowns and craziness nearly killed me. I was so sick and unhealthy watching what was going on from my 36 acres at 8,000 feet. I moved, detoxed, and changed everything. Now I can’t have a casual conversation because I break out in, “Did you know our food is poison?” Or, “Can’t you tell that is a GMO tomato,” sigh. I felt compelled to connect. And I am opening some eyes, including my new best friend who is killing herself with sugar! I am giving her the book next. Thank you for taking a stand and writing this book. Considering you are not a writer – it is very well-written and easy to read. Thank you, and be well.”

“I just finished your book. I heard about it from your podcast with Florence Christopher’s. I had gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago but I have since gained back 25 pounds. A direct result of my food/sugar addiction. I am currently facing the possibility of thyroid cancer as I have developed very large nodules. They will be removing my thyroid in March. All this to say I am going to try to do the 21-day detox starting tomorrow. Please excuse my ignorance. I have no true valuable knowledge of my body or how foods affect it. I come from a long line of overweight hillbillies who love to eat with no boundaries, but I am learning thanks to people like you, Florence, and Wendy.”

“Thanks to you (I read the book and followed your example) my “pre-diabetes” is gone. I’m level at 5.1 A1C and 91 glucose without really going into any trouble. All it took was awareness.”

“I just read your book, Killing You Softly, and you are clearly the expert on sugar. I have been a classic addict my entire life of this poison. Today I started your 21-day detox. So far I have bought 10 copies and sent them to family and friends. My sugar level is perfect. I have reduced my insulin intake. I slept the entire night. I feel refreshed. Thanks for opening my eyes and making me believe. I had a doctor’s appointment 2 days ago. They took me off of insulin and one med for blood pressure. They cut my oral diabetes med in half.”
